Journeyman
A Journeyman is one who has been judged competent in a field by the community. A Journeyman has demonstrated an ability to produce solid independent designs that can fill a specific need. You'll need to create a design for a specific purpose, test it, and change it to make it just right.
Journeyman challenges
1. 3D printing and knowledge quiz (Note: Watch the videos below. You can take this as many times as necessary)
2. Print a box with these details:
Outside dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 mm
Walls 2 mm thick
Lid must fit securely on box - this means the part of the lid that fits inside the box must be slightly smaller than the opening. Try 1 mm smaller to start with.
3. Measure and copy the Made to Measure challenge, found in Thom's office
4. Create a 10 cm ruler, with tick marks every 1 cm. Your ruler must be accurate!

Privileges
You may print original designs up to 100 x 100 x 100 mm.
You may incorporate magnets into your designs (see Thom for dimensions)
You may incorporate imported SVGs into your designs

Tutorials
At this level, you will need to figure out how to make designs without specific tutorials for them. It is still very useful to watch tutorials, however, even if they don't give you exact instructions for what you want to do. Here are a few that may be helpful. You can also search the web for more tutorials, and for inspiration for new designs.
